Versatile Spectroradiometer
The Versatile Spectroradiometer (VSR) is a compact, high-sensitivity spectroradiometer using Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) technology. Its high-speed, robust design makes it ideal for multi-scenario operation — from the laboratory to airborne platforms operating in heavy vibration environments. The VSR delivers real-time, high-resolution spectral information on both slow and fast-occurring phenomena, and performs material and target signature analysis across an ultra-wide spectral range using a unique three-detector configuration.
Key Features
---
• Ultra-wide bandwidth — covers SWIR, MWIR & LWIR (0.9 – 20 µm) with a unique 3-detector configuration
• High spectral resolution — software-selectable from 1 to 128 cm⁻¹
• High-speed, vibration-tolerant scanning — up to 125 spectra/s; operates in any direction including airborne platforms
• Cryogen-free (LN2-free) operation — thermoelectric cooler-controlled cold reference for stable, fieldable use
• Remote diagnostics via TCP/IP & EDGAR™ software — real-time radiance, irradiance, and brightness temperature output
