Panoramic HD IR

Current Scientific’s Panoramic HD IR consists of a high definition thermal camera array integrated with a gyro-stabilized EO/IR System. These systems provide a previously unavailable level of situational awareness with long-range object and threat verification. Available in multiple configurations and with a full frame rate of 30 Hertz, it can be used by operators who prefer and require more information to aid human decisions. It can also be integrated into an AI decision-based infrastructure. Objects detected in the panoramic image can be zoomed in on, providing critical details. Output video can display full 360˚ or other segments, depending on operating requirements.

System Specifications

Model FOV Resolution Human Detection Small Boat Detection
Pano 360 HD 360° × 36° 8800 × 900 670 m 2.6 km
Pano 180 HD 180° × 36° 4400 × 900 670 m 2.6 km
Pano 110 HD 110° × 32° 3600 × 900 750 m 2.9 km
Pano 180 SD 180° × 30° 2600 × 420 400 m 1.5 km
Pano 110 SD 110° × 30° 1800 × 420 400 m 1.5 km

Detection ranges based on Johnson Criteria (50% probability, 2 pixels on target). Human = 1.8 × 0.5 m; Small Boat = 7 × 2 m. Actual range varies with atmospheric conditions and other factors.
